I'm glad your Kaiser experience has been great. It's been the same thing for my family, too. Competent people are working for that non-profit company without making piles of money that they would at a Legacy or Providence. ;)

It does seem hit or miss; my parents love them, and one of their doctors saved my dad's life. But other people I talk to hate them with a fiery passion.

Yeah, a I have a few different sets of friends that have Kaiser. Most of them seem to bitch and think they're being short-changed by being provided Kaiser through work versus something that offers access to Providence. The time or two I had to go through Kaiser, I had no issues whatsoever.

I had a talk with my attorney about this; whom is a registered republican. He and I agree that as a owner of a corporation, why wouldn't we want to bless those that helped bless us?

Our corporation offers health insurance to all our employees, and w match whatever they put in their retirement accounts. I don't need some government force me to do so. A dick will still be a dick and can bypass the mandate by the government "reducing hours and stuff like that".

Just like gun laws, it's really punishing those that do the right thing and the ones that are assholes now have the ability to bypass laws, legally or illegally because they want to cut government control.

So who actually wins? Not the poor...
