How do you promote a facebook business page? What's a good way to get "likes" and what not. I have like 70 facebook likes and 1700 twitter followers. Trying to build an audience here. company confidential. :MARIS61:
Taking a stab (not a social media expert) but use twitter for links to your facebook page??? I've been told to write articles on the facebook page and then use twitter to announce the article. They also want me to start using youtube to link with twitter and facebook. Personally . . . I would rather not do any of that and banter with papag all day
I put $5 in to promote a post. Past posts reach about 50-75 people....we'll see how this does. 40 cents in and its reached 115 people....
Yeah, I should do that. I have my facebook posts auto feed...I haven't really worked on it, I just set it up and kind of kept it dormant.
If you are trying to build Likes for a client who thinks it's somehow meaningful to have lots of Likes, regardless of actual consequence, go on Fiverr. You'll find people there who can give a site 1000 likes for around $10. Which is one reason why Facebook stock is so worthless. If you want to generate actual relevant Likes, it boils down to soliciting customer feedback after the sale, posting relevant content, the usual stuff. Another way to generate interesting content is to comb through Reddit, find stuff that you think is relevant to your audience, and then put your own spin on that highly upvoted idea.
Well, we want it to be organic. I might try Fiverr...i used it once to have a dude yell my name and count hundred dollar bills for me.
...one of the very best ways would be to make a daily post or two that is engaging, visual, and sometimes links to relevant content from your company website. Posing questions that generate commentary is always good, especially with an added photo that is related to the given topic (outrageous & funny pictures do well because of the potential for others to share). After you have made the post/picture live, then you will want to tag your business in the photo...as well as add your business location to the picture info edit. Does your company have a website? With a blog/news section? If so, then that is always a good place to link to...assuming the content is interesting. Basically, spend an hour less per day in this god forsaken place and stir up some social activity for your company instead. Good luck! Yeah, I uploaded a bunch of pictures from an event we had last night. Tagged a few people in there as well as a company. We have a big event in 3 weeks...trying to build a buzz for that.
not promoting to people on my friends list. I tried buying likes through FIVERR, we'll see how this goes.
