Ugh. Now that we're entering the home stretch of this miserable season most call summer, but I call off season hell, I find myself running out of hockey related activities. There's only so many times I can watch the same games over and over again. I've even broken down and watched Miracle, and while not a bad movie, I typically lean more toward movies like Slap Shot, and Goon. I've played a season on NHL 13, and a season of NHL 06 (why I still have it, who knows?) At this point, people have stopped asking me why I yell out 19 DAYS, as they all know that's when preseason starts. It used to be more, but, time moves ever forwards. I've got old ladies and...umm, how to put it nicely...young white kids who listen to hip hop and Miley Cyrus and watch b-ball? (sorry for the horrid grammar), excited for it, just to shut me up. I need the season to start, I don't know how much more tedium I can take. I can't play anymore, even though there is a rink in my town. Even still, that is closed until winter, or what I like to call Super Fun Hockey Time! But seriously folks, someone should invent a hockey board game for the summer, or maybe I should just move to Canada, where at least they have lacrosse. I think I could handle that. I hate the summer.
I've never even heard of this. Too bad it's 40-50 bucks. Can't get it till payday, and by that point, preseason will start in less than two weeks. Half that price I might consider. I am pleased that there IS a hockey board game, that makes my day!
they may even make a computer version...not sure about that htough..they do make a baseball one for computer and online
