I know it isn't great but cut me some slack since it's my first. I did this for Celtic_Ballas request but it did come out great so I didn't bother showing it. God I'm glad they have psds though. That took me bout 20 minutes to cut out.

It's not bad for your first. But it does have some mistakes on it. If you didn't use it when cutting this pic, you should use the pen tool next time. If you want, I can get you a link for a pen tool tut.

If your talking about the tut on Deadly Fire GFX though I've seen it. I just liked the poly lasso better. I'll do another cut tonite though and will make sure to use the pen too.
the magentic tool takes about 10 minutes and is 80% accurate so after you selct everything you have white spots use the erase tool to get em out
Yeah, some people prefer the lasso tool and some prefer the pen tool. I guess it depends on you. But I think the pen tool makes it a lot easier to cut and it's more precise.
