<span style="font-family:Courier New">One is the Celtics signing Brian Scalabrine for 5 years $15 million. I still to this day do not understand this signing because they already had a good core of young power fowards. Justin Reed, Kendrick Perkins, Al Jefferson, Ryan Gomes. The other recent one is the Knicks signing Jerome James to a 5 year $29 million deal. The man had 104 personal fouls and 91 rebounds. Rediculus.</span>
9/27/04: Theo Ratliff signed to 5 year extension. Only 35 players make more than him this year, I'd say that's a bad signing.Zaza Pachulia's 4 year 16 mil. He was never very good, and is probably going to be a little buried under Wright and Williams.Ben Wallace, 4 year 52 mil. No way he's worth that.Larry Hughes, 5 year 70 mil I think it was. He's been injured most of last season, and isn't worth that.10/02/03: Eric Snow gets an extension for 4 years. He's a bad contract for cleveland.Erick Dampier: Obvious reasons.Kenyon Martin: Hasn't played up to expectations. How did you miss this one BALLA? He's on your team!Nene: Another one BALLA missed on his team.Andre Miller: ANOTHER one. After the 02-03 season, Baron Davis' extension kicked in, if this counts as one, then that's a BIG one. He's played like 150 games in the past 4 years. Mike Dunleavy: Underachieving crapface.7/14/04: Adonal Foyle 6 year extension: Terrible contract for a guy that does one thing.Jamaal Tinsley: He's not as good as his 6+ mil a year says.Cuttino Mobley: Also not as good as his money. LAC way overpayed for him.Brian Cardinal: Total crap player that doesn't do much, and he makes 5.4 mil this year and has 3 or 4 years left.Antoine Walker. He's decent when he doesn't shoot the 4 or 3, but he's also probably not worth his near 8 mil and for as long as he's locked down.Udonis Haslem: I put him down because of Walker. The two are splitting minutes, and aren't worth what they make unless they get more minutes.Bobby Simmons: MIP led to a big contract that he doesn't deserve <strike>like Diaw is doing</strike>TWolves: Hudson, Blount, Jaric, HassellJason Collins: Extension in 04, doesn't do much.Quentin Richardson: Obvious.Jamal Crawford: He should make about 3/4 what he does now, at best.Kyle Korver, Sam Dalembert: Neither anywhere near the value of their money.Zach Randolph, Darius Miles: When not slacking off or being arrested, they still underachieve.Brad Miller: Haven't heard much of him. Perhaps he's worth it and he' just underrated.Kenny Thomas: LOL. 6th man at best, but not as good as Mike Miller.Earl Watson: haven't heard much from him, which isn't good for a 5+ mil guy.Carlos Boozer: He's decent if he avoids injuries, but he hasn't done that.Mehmet Okur: Not worth 8 mil, maybe about 5.Derek Fisher: Unless he's hitting halfcourters every other night, he's not worth that money he got.Etan Thomas, Brendan Haywood, Antonio Daniels: Are they worth that? Probably not.You can close this topic now, ;D
zaza pachulias contract isnt really that bad, 4 mil a year for a nice center, isnt bad at all. he put up some nice number last year.also andre miller isnt a bad contract. hes worth every penny, he makes the nuggets go.
Chris Mullin should have been fired when he signed Adonal Foyle and Derek Fisher to those ridiculous contracts...and when he signed Mike Dunleavy to that ridiculous contract...and then Troy Murphy....
Pachulia was a good signing, it was a bit of a risk that panned out great for the Hawks. He is 22, and I think he will keep his starting job even with Wright in town.
Yeah, Zaza isnt being overpayed what so ever. 4 million is just about right for him and I think on his next contract, it will be more.
the kenyon martin signing is probaly only bad because he really hasen't done much for the nuggets, but at the time it was consider a pretty good deal.

It sucked for his years with us though :ranting: Foyle was horrible though, Dunleavy and Murphy are both in make or break years.
A lot of knicks moves could be consider terrible moves, since they basically make a bad move every offseason.
I remember the Brian Cardinal signing. Pretty bad signing for a below average player that will see Darko like minutes in Memphis.
Scabs fo sho. I mean, it wasn't for alot of money, but 5 years? do you think this guy is part of our future danny? :Swoon:

Bulls overpaying Ben Wallace, he is a good player but he is going to have to have a monsterous season to earn the contract he got.
<span style="color:royalblue">To the topic starter, Mehmet Okur is worth that money. One of the best centers in the league, even though he fits PF better. Can shoot the three, mid-range shot, rebound, and an underated blocker.</span>
