In a season: You will win 1/3 of a seasons games because you deserved to. You will lose 1/3 of a seasons games because you deserved to. It's how you play the other 1/3 that makes you or breaks you. Tampa Bay deserved game 1, Yankees deserved game 3. Game 2 was the series winner Yankees offense and pitching came up short.
Break it down a bit further --- a few bad calls by the umps here and there....squeeze the strike zone here or there...... Yes, sometimes It works both ways..and I dare anyone to PROVE that it always works out evenly for "both" teams.
