Who is the best 1-2 scoring punch in the NBA? Well, Believe it or not Allen Iverson and Chris Webber are number 1. Iverson with 33 and Webber with 20. Thats 53 points per game from 2 players.Aside from the facts, Who in your opinion are the best scoring duo in the league?
Hmmm...statistcally, it doesn't get alot better than the sixers top two scorers, but the one that I like the most are Tim Duncan and Tony Parker. You could call me bias but you have one of the best post players in the game along with a lightning fast PG. Also, Timmys stats are going to go up this year for he was injured alot last year. I expect at least 21 ppg from of these players. That isnt as good as the sixers, but it is more efficient considering their FG percentages are a whole lot better.
Lamar and Kobe are at around 50PPG, Arenas and jamison are around 50PPG, Shaq and Wade are up there with around 47PPG, as are Yao/Mac with around 47PPG as well... But the best, not looking at the stats, has got to be Shaq and Wade. Most dominant center in league with one of best and most efficient guards in league.

I never got that retarded trend, and it just doesn't make sense. But in the league right now, I wouldn't go with the statistical leader (AI/Webber) because of the amount of shots and low FG%. I would choose a healthy T-Mac and Yao. When healthy, T-Mac can put up 40 pretty much any night he wants to, and Yao is always good for 20. I say if T-Mac/Yao are healthy, they are the best 1-2 scoring punch in the NBA.EDIT: typo. I spelled retarded wrong haha.
Some otherswade + ShaqVince + RJMcGrady + YaoElton Brand + MaggetteDuncan + ParkerBosh + Mike James (from last year)Ron Artest + Mike Bibby
I know their not the best scoring combo in the NBA but I think wade and shaq are a dangerous duo. Also when healthy nash and amare are a strong scoring duo.
I like Nash and Amare, or Nash and Marion in this category. Don't leave out JRich and Baron Davis though. Al Harrington and Jermaine O'neal could be a great scoring duo if JO is healthy. Replace Al with Stephen Jackson if Al doesn't score that much.

owned<pwned<wpnedI don't think JRich/BD is legit because I personally think it's gotta be consistent. They AVERAGE a decent amount, sure, but the nights BD is motivated(or hurt), which are often, it doesn't work so well.Davis and Garnett average over 40
Nash and Marion most likely, without Amare. Without Amare, Nash was able to drop 20 a night and Marion finally got his 20 and 10.Also, VC and RJ put up 43.7 ppg together. That's pretty nice, isn't it?Rashard Lewis and Ray Ray put up 45.2 ppg together.
With Amare the suns have a good 3some and I think that if amare is healthy that him and nash will be a higher scoring duo than nash and marion.
I know this duo hasn't done much yet, but I like Lamar and Kobe. LO's playmaking ability, his rebounding and his all around talent plus Kobe Bryant's ability to light up anyone, anytime, anyplace has the potential to be a deadly mix for opponents.
Oh yeah, I forgot all about wally and pierce. When they are both on they are deadly and could do damage to a team.

I just dont think you can count Kobe and anyone. All you have to do with Kobe on a team is take him and the next highest scorer and say they are the best. It is the best 1-2 punch in the league. Which requires opposing teams to fear that 2 as well. Everyone is AWARE of Lamar, but I dont think too many (if anyone) fears him.
