Most Yankees fans are spoiled brats and bandwagon fans. First time the team stunk you could hear crickets in that place. Al blamed the ticket prices. Puhlease.
"Spoiled brats" is absolutely the best description of Yankee fans possible. If something isn't going right they just demand the front office to throw more money around rather than building an actual team. The last time I was at Yankee stadium was Game 5 of the ALDS against the Tigers in '11. Teixeira hit like .150 that series. Every single plate appearance he made almost the whole stadium started chanting "WE WANT PUJOLS!" Myself and my buddy were just shaking our heads. Only Yankee fans would demand another $20m 1B while already having a $20m 1B. Laughable. And look where he is now. If Yankee fans had their way he'd be in New York right now.
Again...better check attendance #'s...40k+ with the highest ticket price by far. the dimished mind of a soon to be 40 year old
In October, kids get halloween, we get hockey. I'm good with that. I wouldn't mind if I had a day where I could run around and press doorbells and get jerseys, sticks, autographs, and all that good stuff. Hockey Day in Canada idea maybe?
