John Stockton-Jeff Malone-Blue Edwards: Combined for nearly 50 points, 22 assists and about 5 steals a game in 91-92.

Small forwards don't play in the paint. It's just my take. I say SF is backcourt. Say what you want, it will be debated for a long time.

Jerry West and Gail Goodrich made the highest scoring backcourt in NBA History. They averaged 51.7ppg, and did I mention they won 69 games that and the title that year? They were the best backcourt ever.

Well, I don't want to debate about which backcourt is the greatest, but here's a list to name a few:- Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher (Probably Lakers' best backcourt ever)- Joe Dumars and Isiah Thomas (legendary Pistons)- Vince Carter and Jason Kidd (Good chemistry and highlights at the same time)- Chauncey Billups and Richard Hamilton (Just watch them play)- Magic Johnson and Byron Scott ("Showtime", baby!)

I believe the Lakers' best backcourt was Jerry West and Gail Goodrich. Why didn't I post them up? I noticed that they had already been posted. I only read that post and the one above it. I don't read all the posts in threads because some people rave on and on about nothing, just like I'm doing right now. Bye.

[IMG] Yes, you are raving on and on...But Fish and Kobe were not probably the best backcourt in Laker history. Not even top three.
