IMO Mir was getting tuned up and the "I intentionally dropped to a knee" excuse he used in the presser was telling. Looking at that gif, as soon as the knee hits him in the mouth he drops like a sack of potatoes and isn't defending himself anymore. So, he's lying, and he must've been knocked out. Not uncommon for guys to get hit with flash knockouts and lose their memory of the moment it happened or even of the entire fight or day. Credit to him for recovering but he doesn't exactly bounce back up. He struggles to get up for a moment then starts complaining.
