He was pretty awesome in NBA 2k10, I think I traded outlaw for him The suns paying him 9 million to NOT play the next two years is a pretty good indication of his current value though
It's not because he's a headcase but when would we use him? He's just another talent that Stotts would need to find time for. I think it would cause chemistry problems.
Dennis Rodman arrived in North Korea today. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/sns-rt-us-korea-north-rodman-20130902,0,7064195.story
I saw a Suns/Lakers game last season where Beasley just dominated the fourth quarter and beat the desperate Lakers team. He looked like a top 10 player in the league. The talent is there but we have no room for us on our roster. I wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers pick him up.
The fallout shelter will help save him from a slow and agonizing death. Unless his wife moves into the shelter with him.
Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA 34m The Miami Heat have reached agreement with free agent forward Michael Beasley to join training camp, source tells Yahoo Sports. SMH
Low cost, low risk, potentially high reward. He's an idiot, but he can play basketball fairly well, and if he doesn't work out, he joins E.J. Singler in the unemployment line after training camp...
It will be interesting to see how this plays out. With the Heat's luck he'll probably average 15/8 off the bench. Best case scenario is he takes Chalmers role as the team punching bag.
Best case scenario is he gets into a fist fight with LeBrainless and both are suspended for 50 games.
Beaches, nightclubs, nice weather, easy access to drugs, lots of hot young babes on the prowl for stupid, young, rich guys, etc. Sounds like the prefect fit for Beaseley. BNM
