It would be nice to see him back one more year but it's not going to happen. He has done everything there is to do so I can understand why he's ready.

After all the gifts & fanfare over the past 5 months there's NO WAY the man could come back even if he wanted to.

The man has made close to if not over $200 million in his career. He has five rings, the all time saves record and will be a first ballot hall of famer. Yes, he can clearly still get the job done better than most if not all relievers but there's nothing left for him to accomplish.

Saw a video of Mo being interviewed and he hushed all talk of coming back. I think he has made the right decision and I wish him the best. Would be nice to see him come around during spring training to give some tips and training.

That's something I would also love to see. I mean who better to mentor the younger pitchers. and I've no doubt he'll get an invite. And btw: he'll also be the next player to find a home in monument park.

Forget 1 more year - after tonight - I hope we don't see him pitch for long time now.

The game catches up to everyone, Mo's smart enough to know it.

He's still very good but of course just like everyone else age has caught up to him. You can't beat out father time. The third day in a row and following a four out save proved to be too much.
