Season starts tonight. What are your picks before the season officially kicks off? I think the NFC comes down to SF, SEA, and ATL. Out of those 3, I think SF comes out of there, maybe Seattle. In the AFC, for some reason it seems like ESPN is again picking the Patriots as the sexy pick. I just don't see them being better than Denver and maybe even Houston. San Francisco vs Denver in the SB. San Fran winning it.
Seattle vs New England. Peyton is a choker and until Houston can prove they can stay healthy I can't choose Denver or Houston. Plus I'm a homer with the 'Hawks and I utterly HATE the 49ers.
Houston would be my top choice, but it always seems like they have key injuries. I don't think that will change this year, either. If they can stay healthy though, I think they'll be there.
At least your honest about your completely biased opinion. NFC will come down to Niners and Hawks. Whichever of these two teams makes the SB takes the trophy.
I would have more faith with the 'Hawks than the 49ers in the SB against in air raid team like the Pats or Broncos. The 49er secondary has a lot of work to do.
Probably Kaepernick because his role in the 49er offense is larger than Wilson's with the Seahawks. However Kaepernick is more prone to the "sophomore slump" imo but I doubt either will have one.
People said that last year (and we beat up NE in the regular season). Then, we beat ATL (something Seattle couldn't do). Thing is, sometimes Niners take some time to get the engines firing. But if/when they're up and running, you can't stop us.
We beat Atlanta... I refuse to believe after a comeback like that we lost. I'm also still mad that the Atlanta kicker still got to hit a practice shot AFTER Carroll called a TO. Also the 49er secondary last year was better than this year... Rogers should be a safety now, Whitner is still solid but not a good cover man, idk who is playing FS is it Reid (?) if so can't say much positive or negative there yet, and Aso who once was a beast now can't cover to save his life. Culliver tore his ACL too right? Losing Goldson hurts like hell for that secondary as well. But the 49er defense ultimately lives and dies by the health of Justin Smith. If he is healthy they are top 5 if he isn't they struggle.
Cincy is good but until they get a workhouse RB I can't put them into a SB. They have a good QB, WRs, and D though and should win the AFCN.
...I would love to see the Falcons upset the two Northwest powerhouses and make it to the Super Bowl!
...and it appears that Peyton and Co. are determined to bring the Broncos back to their old Elway style glory days -- wowzers!
Denver vs Cowboys. I made a drunken bet on the cowboys so I'm going down with the ship. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
