No, these games have been to painful and I feel Yankee fans are to intelligent and the organization has tested their patience and loyalty to the point that many of us are insulted with their efforts and not the bunch on the field. Reality Check

And I respect him so much. He could milk another 15 mil out of the Yankees, then he would blow 10 saves or more in 14 and it would ruin the shine short term. If there is ever a guy more deserving of the Hall, it's Rivera

One guy I forgot to mention in a previous post in another thread talking about people who want to win. Looks like Ichiro has to be counted as well. Dude can still motor and field out there. Good job today.

You'd think some of the younger punks in that pen could sack up. We are all fortunate to have experience Marianos tenure as a Yankee.

Mo will be missed. A great career and a great Yankee. The years went too quick.

I have to come to the fact that this particular team has had so much bad luck, more so than any other team I can remember in Yankee history. With that said, Since the opening game, these guys have given us all they have. Some are marginal major leaguers, others are AAAA players and then the worst, the million dollar under achieving players. Add the FO who have failed this team miserably and you get the results that reflect in this season.

I was going back & forth between the Yankees & the Jets. With 2 1/2 left in the Jets game & them leading 15-14 I switched over to the Yankees just in time to see Mo blow the save. After a few minutes I said to myself....SHELF, now watch the Jets blow there game. So I switched back to the Jets just in time to see a Bucs FG go through the uprights for a 17-15 lead with only 34 seconds left.

Enough of this shit, I went back to the Yankee game & they pull it out on a wild pitch. Now back to the Jets thinking to myself....SHELF, what the hell could a rookie QB do in 34 seconds? Well he manages a drive that leads to a game winning FG.

    Life is good.
