Wow, you're dense. A couple thousand to you is the equivalent of 10-12k to somebody else. You got some fog lamps, navigation, etc. The people that paid for the BMW got 300hp, seat coolers, etc. Somehow your money went to function, but the people that bought the BMW didn't get more function. Are you arguing that BMWs offer no more "function" than a Camry? It isn't that hard to understand. It is funny to watch you try to justify your ridiculous position though.
You do realize that having the turbo 535i is just begging you to chip it and bump that output WAY up, right?
The cars I have owned in my life are as follows: A POS 1978 manual 5 speed long-bed Toyota pickup, a 1988 Jeep Cherokee, a 1996 Toyota 4-Runner and a 2006 Honda Element. I don't know what any of that says about me, except that I used to do a lot of mountaineering, backpacking and hunting in my teens and twenties and after I got married 10 years ago I needed something to haul two 80 lb. dogs around in that I could hose out.
We get it, 10-12k is nothing to you. You're so rich. Why would anyone think that BMW drivers are pretentious assholes? Where ever did I get that idea?
Way to go HCP! Your thread turned into a pissing contest. Speaking of a pissing contest, let's talk about older cars instead.
Go back and check your posts in this thread. Essentially every single post from you was about the costs and money. It's so obvious how important it is to you and how much it bothers you. Like you said earlier...they are just cars. Relax.
Honest question, do you ever just post to discuss something? I think you are the most hostile and argumentative person on the board, and that's saying something. I get into arguments, but I also just post about the Blazers or Ducks, or other things. You seem to only want to get into arguments and yell at people. Maybe I got a little annoyed that some people were criticizing my purchase because it was too vanilla and boring, but you love to start shit in just about every thread you venture into. Are you like this in real life?
Yes. Actually, in most threads you usually start crying and whining about something. You like to attack and then play the victim card. If you're going to post ridiculous, contradictory thoughts where you're actually attacking others, then yeah, I'm going to call you out on it. You admit you felt self conscious about your Camry purchase, but felt no hesitation to attack BMW drivers. People like me!! :MARIS61: :MARIS61:
