He was pointing to his left shoulder. They replayed it 3 times, 3 different angles & in slow motion. The ball never touched him.

Im glad they proved me wrong today Al, but I guess you missed Monday and the Boston series. Can you tell me they are busting there asses, totally focused, etc, etc... Maybe I expect to much from guys making millions who should live up to their expectations.

Do you watch every game of every team. You make it sound like the Yankees are the only team that just lays down...pete rose was the exception not the norm and that goes for ALL teams. You expect robots not humans simply because they receive a paycheck. Your perception is biased. Ill give you an example. The 86 Mets had two "great" leaders in keith Hernandez and Gary Carter yet that team won 1world series because they partied too hard. . Would you say they were gutless and lacked leadership? They had plenty of talent and got paid very well.

Yes I would, although for different reasons. You asked if they lacked leadership. Leadership can't stop Gooden and Strawberry from the blow. Individual, self destructing look at me ballplayers. Reminds you of Arod doesn't it. But there are no Gooden or Strawberry's talent wise on this team. And I refuse to compare this band of misfits the Yankees have to the 86 Mets. Talent covers mistakes. If you don't think these Yankees fold when the pressure is on, where have you been for the past 3 years.

I've watched the yanks make the playoffs each of those years. All those dogging players they have and show nothing for it...oh wait...they have as many world series wins as the sox and the rays and dodgers and braves. The other team you mentioned had puluois home grown. But carpenter Holliday didn't come up through the system.
