That Hughes not Huff is to pitch today. Thought I might have heard wrong but checking todays ESPN schedule Hughes is listed as the starter. I wouldn't let Hughes start a lawn mower let alone an important game like today. Griardi better have a pen ready before the first inning ends.

Hughes is probably a slightly lesser stink than Huff, and Hughes has had a few good starts this year so lets just hope.

It's a roll of the dice at this point. Pick your poison. Let's hope that Hughes comes out and throws a great game that we all thought he was capable of a few years back.

Hughes tends to me a little better on the road and based on Huff's last start Joe doesn't have much of a choice. Hopefully the Yankees score a ton of runs tonight.

Camden Yards is even more "homer" friendly than YS, but I guess the sun shines on every dogs a@@ on some days. If he doesn't throw a good game, he'll throw a game. Every time I see that man come out there I shudder.

Unfortunately there's no other choice. If Phelps didn't get hurt we wouldn't be dealing with this garbage. I'd rather see the good and the bad of Phelps over the constant bad of Hughes. Like I said hopefully the offense provides a lot of runs and Hughes pitches not terrible enough to blow it.
