90 has been the win total mentioned for a while but now some are saying it's looking like it will be a bit lower than than. The Yankees would need to go 12-4 to get to 90 and obviously 10 or 11 wins would get them to 88 or 89.

    What do we think?

I still think 90 is the number. Assuming that Texas holds on to the top WC spot, and that is no guarantee, you have to figure one team will get hot and but a streak together. Cleveland worries me because of schedule, TB, KC, Bal, and the Yankees all have games against opponents that are not pushovers.
For example, TB has 1 more with Boston, 4 with Texas, 4 with Baltimore and 3 with the Yankees, 12 games that figure to be a battle. Baltimore has only 1 more with Yankees, 4 with TB and 3 with Boston to end the season (Danger if Soxs are resting players) or 8 games that figure to be a battle. KC, has 3 with Detroit, Texas and Cleveland or 9 tough games, and finally Cleveland has 3 against KC the rest are against Houston, Minnesota, and White Soxs, so if they got hot, they could steal the last WC spot. The Yankees have 7 games against WC or Division leaders with 1 more with Baltimore, 3 with Boston and 3 with TB. So 90 is the number I feel with my worst fears are with games against Toronto SF and Houston who we should beat but look at this teams recent histories against the dogs.

I'd have to agree, 90 sounds about right.
