And yet, he'll still be overvalued and overhyped whilst being underwhelming and underperforming.

Not sure 18/9/1.6 bpg while having a 21.6 career PER is underwhelming

    19/8/1 bpg 19.7 are Aldridge's career marks

ALWAYS loved Pau's game. I remember his first preseason game ever with the Grizz was against us at the RG. Sheed schooled him and talked shit the whole night.

It's both depressing and exciting to think about, but Pau and LMA are pretty comparable. Guys were the same age through their 7th year. I've always thought of Pau as the better passer, and this seems to prove that out.

Did I stutter? They make him to be a hall of famer, but he's not even close. He is overhyped, he should be doing better. But he's not because he's not good enough. I have stated fact. You may go now. :)

Also, Aldridge is not as good as people make him out to be either. So don't think I am a homer. I just know. Thanks.

And who are the players that you think get less credit but are better?

See I don't read well apparently because I don't see the words hall of famer in you original post.
18/9/1.6 is anything but under performing. Yes, two words

Also, with his two silver medals to go along with his NBA accolades, he is almost a shoe in for the HOF....and I hate that prick

LMA isn't making $19.2m this year, though, and is a better player than Gasol at present.

Looking at most guys on the last year of a second big contract, I think he is pretty productive.

I'm pretty sure Lakers don't win those two championships without Gasol.

    How is that Gasol's fault?

Gasol at his peak was better than Aldridge has ever been. Gasol is not the same player anymore.

I think this statement is why a lot of us are pro dealing Aldridge for the right price. Do we take the chance of having a 15-20 million dollar guy on the team that is becoming a shell of himself?

Don't most successful teams have players like that. Blazers can't trade players away just to avoid overpaying for a player in his later stages. Now if LA wants to be traded, that is different issue. But overpaying a player in his latter years to keep him during his prime years is what many teams have to do to get an all star player in his prime

Yikes! I had forgotten how unfortunate looking he was. My advice: grow it back. Hide as much of that hideous face as possible.
