Is there any point at which you would physically revolt against our government?

I think you are very optimistic ... in any case it wouldn't be the military (except to quell mass riots) it would mostly likely be our Gesta ... er ... police agencies handling the response against all of the "whacko, terrorists"

 

I think some of you people need to go look at the history of the rise of the Nazis in Germany if you remain unconvinced that a sophisticated, well educated, technologically advanced country would be able to turn its guns on its own people.

To be clear, I'm not making any kind of prediction, I'm just saying it's naive' to think that something like that is "impossible" in this country.

 

Luckily, the second Obama is out of office, there's no chance of that happening.

The U.S. has 2 million people with Top Secret clearance. It spends at least a couple hundred billion dollars per year on the Secret Government. They audit our every message board post, e-mail, text, and private PMs to moderators.

Meanwhile, the U.S. makes the world hate itself with continuous wars. The country is dependant upon its main rival, China, because it lives on debt.

So, which end is more probable, by internal revolution, or by China giving up on debt collection efforts, taking the world's advice, and nuking us real good?

(They solve their population problem in our counterstrike, retain over a half-billion people, and send a hundred million north to take over the globally-warmed Siberia because they nuke Russia in the same strike. I predict it comes in 2080.)

I have been pondering this question for days. I have spoken with many x military as well as serving. I have been waiting for the time to put to pen a concise response...and here you sum it all up in so few words..bravo
