Old Wash of the Texas Rangers, looks like they are on the way to a second consecutive season of major choke. Best hope the Yankees can get it on with Toronto because though the Rangers lead the current series with Tampa, are going to have a difficult series. The Yankees may have a huge season series lead over Toronto but this is not the time to let them back in. Saw Sabathia video on River Avenue Blues, said he's really sorry for the year but he believes he is getting close. Glad to hear that with only a few games remaining coupled with his putrid record against Tampa and Boston.

With the pitching being what it is, and all the other ambulance runs, I don't know how this team can compete. I have used the word gutless to describe several players (Wells, Ichiro, Joba, Hughes, CC) to name a few, but the rest deserve all the credit for hanging in all year. Still there are games to be played and all we can do is win tonight and wait till the next.

I've made up my mind to watch where the chips fall, but if there is no accountability fallout and an effort to fix this team I may get neutral. The Yankees are my only team, I have no other favorites. When the Yankees don't make the Series I may offer an opinion on who may win but I'm not going to become an instantaneous flag waving gear buying fan of that team. Yankee fans are used to excellent teams that compete regularly and produce. There is nothing wrong with admiring success at all.

As long as this team is being run by these clowns, I'm afraid I don't see much happening over the next few years. Oh sure the'll throw on a band aid here & there, but I really don't expect anything drastic.
