    As expected heavyweights Mark Hunt (9-8 MMA, 4-2 UFC) and Antonio Silva (18-5 MMA, 2-2 UFC) will meet in a five-round headliner during the UFC's December return to Australia.

    Officials today announced the event, UFC Fight Night 32, which takes place Dec. 7 in the Queensland capital at Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

    The clock is ticking on Dominick Cruz. His last fight was October 1st, 2011 (in three weeks it will have been two full years). The UFC and Dana White specifically don't want to keep doing the interim title thing. Looking like they're considering pulling the title from him if he isn't returning soon and making the interim holder the official holder (though he never will be in the eyes of the fans).

    BJ Penn is un-retired. He texted Dana White asking to fight Ben Henderson.

    Instead, Frank Edgar and BJ Penn will be opposing coaches on the next season of The Ultimate Fighter culminating in their third fight in mid-2014. Dunno if this means BJ will stay at featherweight.

    UFC on FOX 9 on Dec. 14 in Sacramento will feature Pettis vs. Grant with Michael McDonald vs. Urijah Faber and Chad Mendes vs. TBA in a title eliminator also on the card. Mendes vs. Lamas?

    Travis Browne vs. Stipe Miocic next for the heavyweight division

    TJ Grant can't commit to fight as soon as December 14th and has withdrawn. Bummer.

    With a good win over Diego Sanchez next month, Gilbert Melendez could be the next challenger, though it would be short notice (about 2 months).

    Another option is Josh Thompson.
