Four innings no runs, Nunez choked with a man at 3rd and 2 out. That 16-4 record against Toronto isn't looking good at all.

Just saw a clip of Cano making no effort up the first base line, MLB crew commented on that, the man quit on his team, did not look good at all.

They got lucky 59. You know it and I know it. The 3 games in Boston, the one on Monday, even Soriano was questioning the effort in the clubhouse. I stand by it, gutless. This group as a team has over achieved and I take my hat off to them for the effort they gave. But there are individuals on this team, that are just mailing it in, and of all the people you know it.

...ahh, I see. When they trail in the score after a few innings and make you look prophetic, they're "gutless"...but when they claw their way back and win, they're simply "lucky"...check.
...like I've been saying, this "gutless" thing kinda seems to come and go...strange.

...and players like Soriano are in no position to question anyone's "effort" when they stand at home plate admiring a ball they thought was a HR, only to watch it bounce off the wall...yeah, great hustle, and it shows a lot of grit and "guts".
