Thanks for posting. I think the hypocrisy is disgusting, but I hate that the author felt they needed to add "Though scientists have noted that climate is a key cause of these Colorado floods, Coffman, Gardner, Lamborn, and Tipton are all deniers of climate science" at the end. I think it has no relevance to the issue, and moves the article away from a valid point.
Just out of curiosity, were there any riders attached to either Sandy relief bill? I seem to remember something about just-sworn-in members of Congress from both parties complaining that they hadn't been given time to read the bill and that there was all kind of pork attached to the bill or bills?
I did not read the bill, and this is all hearsay. But from I understood, there was dispute on what was considered pork and necessary.
