Seems like all of the evidence plus Walt's phone call and if Skyler starts talking should be enough no? And Jesse made a confession tape with Walt and Gomie, does Marie know about it? Even if they're not sure they can convict I think they know enough to label him a highly dangerous suspect and put a manhunt out for him.
I wasn't saying the relationship will be mended. I think it's likely Walt will in some way sacrifice himself for Jesse, just as he did for Skylar with the phone call. I think there will be some sort of parallel there. Also I disagree that the gang was just handling business in Walt's eyes. Once they ignored his order to stand down, ignored his order not to kill Hank, and took 6/7 his money they are obviously the #1 targets now. Not at all, but I think all the guilt Jesse has been punishing himself with indicates he will live, and I think being saved somehow by Walt is the most likely scenario. I think Skylar, Flynn, and Marie are all more likely to die than Jesse.
Put that way I could see those both happening that way. I still don't expect that but I'll add it to my mental list of possibilities.
She's seen the money, she's been laundering it too. Of course she has no idea where it is now. Dunno if she can prove that Walt killed Gus but he essentially told her he did. Walt also may have told her that they put a hit on Jesse, since she was pushing for it, and Marie knows Jesse was with Hank at their home in the days leading to both of their disappearances. Why would she? Well it seemed she finally turned on Walt with the knife struggle, and although she seemed grateful during his phone call with the police listening, I would think they still require her cooperation if she wants to get off. Walt's phone call framed the situation like she had a pretty good idea of what was going on, even if she didn't know all of the details. Oh by the way, there's also Marie who's likely talking to the police now. She knows that Walt is Heisenberg via Hank, and she knows Skylar and Walt made the tape to discredit her and Hank. She was there for the taping of Jesse's confession right? That said, Walt has never explicitly stated that he killed Gus or Hank, just alluded to it. Not sure if they're lacking hard evidence to convict WW but like I said I would think there's plenty to justify the authorities trying to take Walt into custody at least.
Just watched tonight's! Not much action, but definitely setting up the finale. I liked how they tied up some loose ends on the whole Mr. Lambert situation. Can't wait for next Sunday! Sent from HCPs Baller-Ass iPhone 5...FAMS!
Todd has become the most fascinating character. He is spectacular. So many facets. -- doe-eyed, smiling, polite, sentimental, boyish, impressionable?, shows fleeting hints of remorse, impersonal/not vindictive -- ice cold, pragmatic, unwavering, a Keyser Soze level of discipline -- won't stop cooking even with Walt's millions in hand--is he an agent of chaos? is he a psychopath? what's his goal? -- comes off as simple but tends to make good, brutal decisions without hesitation, knows how to stay on track -- looks for validation and friendship in difficult or impossible situations -- future crime lord or just a leaf in the wind?
Yeah he has turned out to be a very interesting character. He has a lot of Heisnenberg in him. The only difference is he is more "cold blooded" the true super villain!
This episode was a little meh in terms of action, but I can see how everything is unfolding now. Walt's old partner; saying those things about Walt playing a small part in the form of the company brings a new light on the possible receiver of the poison. I think Walt's pride will get the better of him and he's going to take that person out.
I hope that isn't the case. Too out of the blue. I think it's just the motivation he needed after being smashed by Flynn. He was ready to quit and that interview got him up off his ass and on his way to the Nazi camp for revenge.
Don't know man. The way Walt reacts to anyone fucking with his pride; I wouldn't be surprised if we have some sort of "Godfather" ending; where a bunch of people die simultaneously.
The most important thing for Walt from that interview was finding out that Heisenberg quality blue meth was still being sold.
I think what set Heisenberg on fire was when he heard that the 'blue' meth was back on the streets. He knows there is only one way for that to happen ... Pinkman is still alive.
Didn't see your post first, but I caught that, too, and thought that was why he didn't give himself up.
What is he going to do when he finds him?!?! That might be what I'm looking forward to most right now.. until I think of something else.
He lost his family. I think he kills the white supremacist gang and rescues Jesse. They leave and become one. I think Jesse always wanted a dad and Walt will be one for him.
Yeah I don't see how Walt could forgive Jesse since Walt obviously blames him for all of this shit going down. I can't imagine it, but I hope Vince Gilligan could somehow..
