    No it is not. It's an opinion, a personal belief, that someone who helps create the drama, did bring it on themselves, and someone who has a penis or a vagina is in fact a boy or a girl. Ill informed, maybe, hateful, not necessarily

    I am having a fit because she called me a bigot, not because she called a lot of others bigots as well. As the rule stands though, they should not call you a bigot, so their posts should be edited like others are when someone attacks a poster.

    This might be different from what Denny and Julius said, I haven't read all that. Haven't had coffee yet. For me, if I see someone calling someone else a bigot I will jump in there and edit or delete it. Doesn't matter who it is. I can't remember what he posted but I even edited one of Denny's posts recently when he was going back and forth with Mags.

    I will say this to you again, I miss things all the time. I log into the forum and it's almost a chore to skim through all the threads and read about crap I don't really care about before I can get to the threads I want to read. If something is missed or you feel that someone is being insulted please, please, PLEASE, just PM me or flag the post.

    based on the definition, your comments were making you a bigot (but before you flip out, based on the definition, we've made bigoted statements too).

    Do you strongly dislike others opinions about certain things? Do you refuse to accept others views on things?

    Again, I think you're making the word 'bigot' to mean "racist". it doesn't. You are intolerant of certain groups, be honest. (we all are, no matter what anyone says)

    I've never heard it used in a positive manner. "Hey, lets go to the Irish bigot parade today!" I'm sure you will find examples proving me wrong but if I see someone calling someone else a bigot I'm assuming they don't mean it as a compliment.
