    As usual, you bring up good points. But I think part of the issue is, people take attacking the post as though its attacking the poster.

    That's really the bigger issue, being unable to differentiate the two.

    Throwing personal insults back and forth have killed forums. Debating thoughts, ideas and opinions is what make forums fun. It can be a very fine line but I think it's the most important one to draw. People will disagree with me on that and that is great. That's why it's great to have these discussions out in the open.

    I am saying that people take offense too easily. Sometimes you can just ask someone to please stop and most the time they do. Most the time, people are joking and don't realize they hurt someone else.
