Lol at where love and lee are ranked. Told you bitches! Lma is better than both. -incoming oden dick pics-
Well two years ago we had Andre Miller running the point, he was amazing at getting Aldridge alley-oop attempts. Yes perhaps Stotts and Aldridge himself are also partly to blame. The heavy minutes the starters had to play could've lead to Aldridge deciding to drift outside more. But Lillard could be a part of the problem. It's not fair to expect Lillard to have the passing of Andre Miller but as he grows as a player he might learn a few small tricks here and there to get teammates some easier looks.
Wow looking at this list again, it makes me wonder could Aldridge be the best big man in the NBA next season? No I don't expect it to happen, but every year you see a few guys play better than we expect and a few guys play worse. If Aldridge has a real good stretch of play he could be right there. Makes the talk of him possibly not being worth a max contract in two years seem silly.
Aldridge at 2 = Great, fair, accurate, just list. Lillard at 15 = Fool has no idea what he is talking about and should have his credentials taken from him. Fucking love this place
Miller is quite possibly the best in NBA history at setting up the alley-oop. That's not fair to compare anyone to him, let alone a rookie.
It's MM bringing up strawmen and arguing with himself again. No one in the thread said anything close to that.
And Camby was probably the best big at it. Aldridge definitely misses those two guys in that respect. But I think Lillard plays at least a small part in LA's lack of easy shots. I think a lot of people we're surprised by his passing ability but he needs to take a few more risks / become more creative if he wants to evolve into a better all around guard. Stotts brought up similar points during his exit interview.
I think it's just a matter of scoring coming much easier to a rookie than passing, so play to Lillard's strengths until that part of his game evolves. To do otherwise would be to commit to a huge number of turnovers with a rookie dominating the ball so much. Any rookie, not just Lillard.
MM, you seriously agree with Lillard being 15th? Calderon is better than Lillard? You really think so? Would you take Calderon, Conley, or Jeff Teague over Lillard?
