I, for one, definitely agree that crandc gets handled differently. She attacks other posters as much as anyone I've ever seen here, and they rarely get edited, and she rarely (if ever?) gets "warned". The thing is that if she did get treated equally here, she would probably hate it and flip the fuck out, like she already does pretty consistently. She is the female, gay, feminist version of PapaG.

Oh, I'm sorry. Has she been warned repeatedly, been suspended, came back under a fake screen name, went back to her normal screen name, continued to bring up shit that people told her, had been asked repeatedly again to tone it down, went off and had a melt down like papag just did?

because if so, I must've missed it.

not all warnings are made public. In fact, most are made via PM

Who knows because she's never been warned. And who knows what would have happened if she was permanently banned. She may of done the same.

Honestly, I don't want to see either gone. I liked papag and still like crandc. But saying "this guy was guilty" while others get away with the same shit "myself included" is kinda silly, imo

and how, pray tell, do you know?

because I've personally asked her to tone it down a few times.

And you're honestly telling me that in the 3300 times she's posted, she's on par with papag, who has posted almost 10 times as much as she has?

thank you for proving my point

also..I do enjoy crandc, as did I PapaG. I used her as a lightening rod because I knew you would come to her defense, not fair, I know, but effective

False equivalences don't really prove any points. I didn't come to her defense, you acted like what she has done is on par with what he has done. It's not. It's not like you guys have read all of the posts that he's made, or had to clean up after him (and others). It's not like you guys are actually in on the PM's exchanged between posters and mods (I personally haven't even PM'd him about it, because I know others have and do).

I don't defend Mixum (not sure what his ideology is). I don't come to Mick Zaggers defense when he says things that are pushing the envelope. I didn't defend further either (in fact, guess what? I asked him to tone it down too! ZOMG!)

But hey, I know what, instead just stubbornly stick by your stance that we're just unfair and mean and blah blah blah.

Umm, I must have missed it. I never noticed anything he did that would suggest this treatment.

now, now, you of all people should know that I am one to adjust my opinion at times. As a matter of fact I believe you were instrumental just the other day in my doing so.

degree of guilt is not what this was about.

    I did?

I have no idea what about.
I think degree of guilt plays a huge role though. Let's say you kind of went off on me, and have no real history of it. Sure, you have your moments, but you aren't known for flying off the handle.

Should you have the same punishment as someone who has flown off the handle a lot? Or makes personal insults a lot? or accuses people of shit they didn't do?

In a perfect world, yes (but in a perfect world, you don't do it anyways). In reality, no.

PapaG stated that he had not received a PM from a mod in over a year.

He also said that future made comments about his family and that turned out to be to false.

So....maybe he's not being honest about that?

Plus, this wasn't just solely about him getting warnings, but crandc too.

Yeah I didn't really believe it, but Sly responded to that comment of his and didn't dispute it.

I would just find that very odd, if true.
