Artist formerly known as BeerBoy. I have matured, grown into a man, no longer a boy. Stotts will be on a few minutes after 10:00am.
"Everybody has to buy into winning and what it takes for us to win." What LMA needs to take the next step: "He's been remarkably consistent, I don't know how much more he can do, had a career year in rebounding, think he can up that more though" "Want him to get to the free throw line more, he didn't enough last year, and part of that was my fault."
Players have to like playing for a coach that is so willing to take partial blame for things. I really hope he succeeds.
about C.J. McCollum... "Mo Williams is a proven player in this league." as an aside what I find different about this year (and last) are the coach and GMs comments. In the Nate days it was always "the positions are open, they'll all have to earn their spots in training camp." Last year Olshey said Lillard is our starting PG the day he drafted him. This year the coach is making it clear that Mo Williams is going to get his minutes. RoLo was declared a starter the day we traded for him. It just seems like the roles are established before preseason even starts. I think that's probably a good thing, but I'm not sure.
Nice try BeerBitch. Posted this about 20 hours ago. Try to keep up FAMS! Sent from my baller ass iPhone 5 FAMS!
In his defense, most of the forum probably has you on ignore, so he was only looking out for the forum
Rome did ask about Aldridge being happy in Portland and what not. Stotts said the same ole thing we always hear, that he is happy and just wants to win, blah blah. Most surprising thing of the whole interview happened at the end when Rome said his goodbye and the Stotts mentioned that he can now check being on Rome off his bucket list. If that is on his bucket list as a head coach in the NBA, I sure would like to see what else is on there...
jimrome.com/2013/10/03/terry-stotts/ Audio from the interview. Interesting stuff, I think. Also, Casey posted a transcript. http://forwardcenter.net/transcript-terry-stotts-on-the-jim-rome-show/
I like that Terry admitted he kept Aldridge out of the paint too much in his offensive scheme. I really hope he's sincere about it and has him featured in the paint more this year.
