This is addressed to Mediocre Man but it also applies to a few others, I'm just not understanding this ongoing battle you want to have with the mods. Your complaints and accusations are growing tiresome. You have repeatedly accused me of having a double standard in how I moderate this forum. As others have pointed out to you in the last month alone I have edited personal attacks from: Denny NateBishop3 Julius Further Crandc LincolnJones BlazingGiants Mags Marazul and I few others that I forget. I try to be as fair as I can in this. I don't care if it's another mod or a friend I will edit out the personal insult. You keep bringing up that you've been called a bigot and ignorant and I haven't done anything about it. I can only tell you what I have told you in the past. I miss shit. I don't have time to read all of these threads. If someone has personally attacked you then tell me. I've asked you to do this at least half a dozen times in the past. Either flag the post or contact me via PM. PM is quicker, the post flagging feature on this website is a bit wonky. I have to go into a different section of the forum outside of the Blazer forum to see those. A PM pops up as soon as I log into S2 and it also sends me a notification to my personal email address. If you tell me where the personal insult is I will not only remove it I will apologize to you for missing it. That is the best I can offer you. As far as this ongoing argument you have with Nate concerning him editing one of your posts recently what you don't know is as soon as you contacted him via PM pissed off Nate immediately PM'd myself and BrianFromWa asking our opinion on this. We both read your original post and while it was not the worst personal insult posted on here we both felt it was one. Now you've made it clear you think I'm incompetent when it comes to being a mod but Brian is a straight shooter, if says it reads like a personal insult you should probably take that to heart. But more importantly, if you really didn't mean that as a personal insult then go back and reedit the post so it reflects that. You've written all of these posts and PMs claiming we're out to get you, that all the mods have banded together in some giant conspiracy to get Mediocre Man when all you had to do was go back and add 3 little words to your original post. "Your post is fucking idiotic" or "Your opinion is fucking idiotic." Instead you bring up this weird justification for it. Saying that it isn't a personal attack but it doesn't matter because you've been personally attacked. That just doesn't make sense to me. If you didn't mean it as a personal attack what does you previously being personally attacked have to do with it? Anyway, I'm starting to nitpick. I'm going end this by saying to everyone on here, I truly try to be as fair as possible when moderating this forum. I think I have demonstrated that it doesn't matter who it is if I see a personal attack I will edit or delete it. If something gets missed it does not mean that I am picking a side, playing favorites or I am secretly out to get you. It means that I missed it. I have no problem admitting this but also apologizing for it. Let me know and I will gladly fix it.
Let's have a day that nothing gets edited and there are not any mods and see what a shit show this place will become, then maybe some of the posters here that have an issue will appreciate the job that the mods do here, for free, out of their own time.
I know I deserve edit and most of mine don't get caught because I post 3k a day. I have zero problems with any mod editing my posts. I have a lot of passion about a lot of opinions and I will admit that I get carried away at times. Anyway, I think the mods do a fine job here. There is a level of comfort I feel posting in here. I have had a couple of my posts edited recently. I promise everyone, they were brilliant. But, I too understand I screwed up and stepped over the line. Me. My fault. Milk was a baaaad choice. The mods who edited me were not at fault, I was.
Does SlyPokerDog stand when he types on this forum? There is no way he can sit and type because he is always butthurt.
