Just saw this on Zip's twitter feed. What in the heck? If he was planning to move one of the top 3 center's then he should have had Lindberg there to take the spot. Not sure who it's going to, I won't be as upset if it's Miller. But if we open the season with a center depth chart of Stepan-Brassard-Boyle-Moore I will not be happy

That's what it will be. Miller is better on wing IMO. He can take draws if needed. It's already started. Two, low talent offensive centers on the third and fourth lines.

Yes I do like Miller better on the wing, it's where he was all preseason, but I definitely don't like Boyle as a third line center. We spent all last year saying how he shouldn't be there, and here we are again.

So they move Richards to left wing instead of buying him out and signing Clowe?
Looks like he got one year left here. Brassard cannot play wing?
Boyle is just glued to the third line. Maybe he signs a contract with another team next year.

If you don't like Richards on the team I get that but Clowe contract given his age and head injuries is even worse. He wasn't the answer

I agree Dis. I was all for signing Clowe in the offseason, thought he has that very rare combination of size, toughness, and 20+ goal potential. However, that contract the Devs game him is absolutely laughable. Glad we let him walk if that was his price.

The coach is playing with trouble. Richards is deadwood. They could put him anywhere
on the ice, he will not be a contributing factor. Yep. Half this players should not be
    on this team.

Yeah I'm ready to throw in the towel on Richards after ONE game

He sucked last year and still would have gotten 60 pts in full season. He isn't close to earning his salary that's his problem.

I don't personally hate Richards. I think he contributed big time to the Rangers before last year and made us a very good team. It just looks like he is done after this season. They can get another left winger and save the money.

well its like this nobody is going to pickup his contract and If I remember correctly nobody on the espn board wanted that contract. They all wanted Richards a significantly lower price, I know I did. Im going to cheer him on for scoring
