That '64 Philly Team that came unglued was a damn good unit up to the point in time. I was looking forward to a Yankees Phillies Series but not to be. In '86 though I was in the US. Mauchs team was simply snake bit,

No thanks on Dusty Baker. The guy has had a load of absolutely choking moments at a manager.

Yeah, that guy is one to put a lot of stock in, he's full of more shit that you are, but to answer your question nobody, I think managers have little to no effect on the game, all that matters is players, the only thing a manager can do is keep players happy, which is basically being a babysitter.

But go ahead, keep pushing for Dusty F'n Baker... and I'm the pinata...

I'm beginning to think that Pasta & Rusty are one in the same.

I guess when Pasta said he was leaving it was only to change his SN.

I won't address these childless games, you guys called me out first so how about you show me where I've been a "pinata" and then maybe I'll talk, until then you're all full of shit.

And Baker is still a loser manager.

...lmao..."childless games"?...wtf is that?...I think the word you are feebly searching for is "childish".

...and look again, YOU are the one who called me out in this thread.

If the Yankees need to go in another direction I don't want an old crusty manager like Baker. I mean if you're going to go that route why not offer the job to Pinella?

I think most of us here are just trying to figure out the logic (or lack of same) in 99% of your posts. Look, opinions are like assholes...everybody has one. It's just that you don't seem to put a whole lot thought into yours. Just looking out for you kid.

...I brought up Lou last year...and I think he moved back to the NY area with the idea of the Yanx' job in the back of his mind. If given the choice between Baker and Lou, I'd take Lou.

I too would take Lou between the two... but according to Wikipedia (take that for what it is), he still lives in Tampa...

...I guess I could have been clearer...I have no idea where he actually lives...I was meaning that he moved to the booth to broadcast Yanx games.

I say give him the managers job if it means not having to listen to him on YES. I love Lou, but not as a commentator.
