Look at those stat leaders! If we finish the season that way, how many wins would we end up with? Haha
Gibson looks very good again! Snell is playing sg for the second unit. Murphy is more of a player than I thought.
Not saying it's worth anything, but the Bulls are going to have the best record in the NBA this year, right?
Bulls won 106-87. Everyone played well. James, Pittman showed a little somethun' the last 5 minutes of the game. Bulls 2-0 against two good teams with Rose playing just 22 minutes a game and we won both games without Noah. Gibson, was a best the first two games.
ESPN finally posted the box score. It was not available throughout the game. Bulls shot 47% and out rebounded Memphis by 12. Boozer 16, Hinrich, Gibson 15, Rose 13, Deng 13. Nazr 6 boards, 3 blocks. Bulls shot 43 FT's! We were 5-9 in 3's.
I think it's possible, but it'll be less of a priority this year than previous ones. And the East is much better at the top this year than last. You get the impression that getting into the postseason in good shape has become a top priority for the organization, so pushing the pedal to the medal every single game might not happen as much. (Of course, you also can't take the Thibs out of Thibs). So far I'm very pleased with the way the team has played. Boozer, Deng, MDJ, and Kirk look like business as usual. ROSE IS BACK! And it's obvious the quickness is still there. Everything else is a little rusty, but that'll come with time. Taj looks improved, but he's had stretches before. Jimmy looks good, although nothing all that different from the end of last year. The most difficult item to forecast is the trio of Teague, Snell, and Murphy. I think to have a genuine shot at best record we'll need two out of those three to be meaningful bench contributors by the end of the season, and right now it's just way too hard to tell. Snell looks pensive, Murphy hustle but looks slightly overmatched, and I can't say whether or not Teague's improved enough to put himself into the rotation.
