On a serious note. I love MM and his takes. I actually respect most of what he says.

I love what he provides to this community with over/under and insight.

So my pissy remarks are only because I'm getting tired of the same shit. The last I will say about it. I hope it's the last complaint I read publicly by MM too.

Anyway, you're a good man. So regardless of what back and forth we have; remember I think of you like this.

OT for a second. That video really pushed the edges of what was acceptable back in 92. Now it doesn't hold a candle to the softcore porn that has become pop music videos.

Go re-read the thread. I'm usually with you, MM. I really am. Even when you're ranting, bashing, and offending. But you seem to be upset in this thread about people disagreeing with you. Which is funny. Cuz you say way more offensive stuff in other threads (in jest or not, you get more reactions)...

This post is retarded. Dunno how it got this way. Don't think the post got it direct from you, honestly, but it got it from somewhere.

OK I finally made it through the whole game. Wow the refs...........

My biggest concern right now is at SG. I can't take the lack of ball handling skills that we saw last night. It is the main reason why I am fine with small ball as much as we can get away with. There are just too many players who think they can dribble penetrate....that just can't. I think you can actually make an argument for Barton as our best ball handler at SG. (Not counting Batum or pG's playing the 2)

On the plus side I thought Lopez looked pretty good.

I am still on the Claver bandwagon. Either at the 3 or the 4. He needs to get a solid 16 minutes a game. Not sure if Batum needs to play some 2 to make room or if he will take Trobs minutes at the 4. But so far he looks the most comfortable out of all our bench players. One benefit of playing in the Euro Championships.

Defensively Joel is a much better PF than Center. When he was matched up against Griffin he played him tough. Moved his feet well. He played better when Lopez was on the floor with him.

So far our offense still looks like it will be Damian penetrating and passing out for a 3 or shooting it himself. Still need one more guy who can attack the rim. Hated seeing the Clippers doing such a good job of doubling our PGs 25 feet from the basket and disrupting the offense so easily.

I know it is just one preseason game, and we played without both back up PG's. That tends to make most teams look bad.

obviously I can't see video from over here:

would you agree that of the potential options to start at the 2 (Wes, Barton, Mo, CJ-when-unbroken), that Batum's the best of all those?

If you think of Lillard - Batum - Wright - LMA - Lopez, (and you assume that TRob will spell LMA and Leonard will spell RoLo), then having Mo, Wes and Claver on the bench allows you to situationally substitute and bring in a relative stud (for a benchwarmer). If you start Wes, that severely limits both Wright and Claver's minutes...

Yes your post from a few days ago did cross my mind while watching the game.

I did not really watch Wright play too much last year. One website describes him as a possible point forward. If he truly has those type of skills, then having him teamed up with Damian and Nic would be much better.

This bench would be pretty good:
    Mo/Watson
    Wes/
    Claver
    TRob/Joel
    Leonard
