The Portland Trail Blazers, after starting the preseason 0-2 at the Moda Center, got their first win of the preseason with a 96-86 result against the Utah Jazz at CenturyLink Arena in Boise, ID.

The Trail Blazers were led by exemplary and efficient performances by Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge. Lillard finished the night with 23 points on eight-of-15 shooting, five assists and a rebound in 29 minutes. He also held Jazz rookie Trey Burke to seven points on three-of-ten shooting to easily win the point guard matchup for the Trail Blazers, who were the designated home team.

As dominant as Lillard was, Aldridge might have been better. The two-time All-Star had his way with Utah’s bigs, scoring 20 points on eight-of-nine shooting while pulling down eight rebounds in just 18 minutes.

If I respond on the Blazer board to a Truebluefan post, does it appear elsewhere on Denny's octupus-like multiconglomerate network of forums?

Actually it's his forum...... because he partially owns it.

Besides, I think his 77k posts make you look like a rookie.

Yet another of my many money-making suggestions for this board:

    Sticky the Blazer schedule.

In preseason, I have no idea when the next game is. I have to wait for the game thread to appear. It often, but not always, has the day and time in the first post.

In regular season, I use several clicks to check ESPN's schedule. I'd rather give my clicks to Denny. Wait. Is he just the front man for Trueblue, the evil power behind the throne? So...Denny's the partner who invests the money, and Trueblue's the Energy Bunny who invests the time.

Well it's about time. It really pisses me off how long that took.

We know. We saw you picketing in front of the S2 offices. You misspelled "Morons" though.

The CIA always installs a prettyboy frontman as every outfit's mouthpiece. I had already noticed before the confirmation above that Denny's just here for his looks. I know how that works; I myself am in demand among many nefarious foreigners who are floored by my Bob Whitsitt avatar.

This poor grunt Truebluefan who does all the heavy lifting deserves your sympathy, HCP. Think of him as the boardroom Mexican. As lounge lizard Denny wins every argument on the OT board while combing his hair, loyal servant Trueblue trudges to his filthy, slow, ancient computer and taps out yet another dozen of his 770,000 posts so far. MS-DOS isn't the fastest, but it affords Denny an extra annual Hawaii trip on top of his other, continuous, vacation, by holding down the equipment expenses. If only Denny would subscribe to a newspaper to help Trueblue's daily research. The poor guy searches and searches for player arrests in every sport, often having to talk players into doing whatever it is.

And the pay. Giving an employee .01% ownership so that he works for free 80 hours per week is the oldest trick in the book. And then jimmying the balance sheet to lose money and yelling at Trueblue for a new cash infusion every quarter. The more I write, the more disgusted I get with Denny. So everyone, give poor Trueblue all the support you can afford.

He works his ass off trying to get interest in the other forums. His hard work is starting to pay off in the NY and New Jersey sports teams forums here.

Sly has it so easy, finding odd news articles to start OT threads. Poor Trueblue scrapes the barnacles to find the daily player arrest, hidden in some small town newspaper. Meanwhile that slavedriver Denny wakes up every morning, has his butler spread his caviar on toast, and starts planning his daily OT jousts.

I feel sorry for the unappreciated Truebluefan. His job should be rotated with the others. Also he should be provided with a private investigator to dig up more dirt and racecar pictures of drivers wearing caps. I just can't get enough. Maybe PapaG would take the job.
