This is pretty debatable. He is the All-Time leader in points for the Miami Heat (Which Wade will break.)

I don't think Rice will make it, there are too many other capable players, and he wasn't popular enough.

I dont think so. He was good and I loved thim. But I dont see how he could possibly. Didn't win enough, didn't get enough awards and didn't break many recordsSadly I dont see him getting in.

whoa Clangus, Glen Rice didn't win enough? He made the playoffs 7 times and he was a key player when the Lakers won the title back in 2000, He was an awesome role player for the champs, He stepped up to hit big shots, He deserved that title as well as anybody.

he was an average role player on the team. He has a ring, yes. But there are many many player who have a ring that wont(/haven't) make the Hall. Rice was one of my favourite players. I just dont think he will make it. I think that he was an good player but not HOF.

Im not saying he should be in the HOF, I never said that.I was posting that because of the fact that you said he didn't win enough.

Don't forget, he led U of M to a title back in his college days. I think another three point specialist, Reggie Miller, is ahead of Rice, and that will kill his chances.

He was great when he was with Miami and when he was a Charlotte Hornet but towards the end of his career, he didn't do play alot for teams like the Clippers and Utah. Too many better guards than him. He was never a good leader IMO. Never took a team far in the playoffs. Needed Shaq and Kobe's help to win a chip. I believe he was only an all-star 2 or 3 times and that doesn't cut it to make it to the HOF.

No way, if you let Glen Rice in the HOF you have to let dozens more go in. He didn't change the game or stand out enough although he was a good player for a long time. The guy could just flat out shoot/score the ball.
