Walmart shelves in Springhill, Mansfield, cleared in EBT glitch

    I don't see the big deal, if they were getting food that just means that they won't need as much food later, and their ebts will have unused funds next month because there will be no room in the fridge

    I was probably a bit vague with that.

    It was wrong for the store to approve the cards to be used. It was wrong for the people to steal the food. They are both at fault. I wasn't blaming only the store, but I can see how it could have been taken that way.

    if the store was in the wrong, then so would be your employer to ever put you into a position to be responsible with their monies

    Why is that? I would have never allowed it. People can wait two hours to get their groceries, or they can go somewhere else and steal them. They're not going to starve.

    The store was absolutely wrong for allowing it. Clearly it was a huge mistake

    At least now Walmart knows what kind of people it's customers are.
