Has anyone used Apple TV to stream NBA league pass games on your TV, and if so, how would you rate your experience? I've used broadband league pass on my computer and overall no complaints but I've read there were buffering issues with Apple TV in the past. Can you watch multiple games just as you can on your computer/iPad? Any insight appreciated.

Mine was a bit choppy at times. I don't know if I'd rely on it solely.

Thank you, I'll probably end up using my laptop or iPad then.

I'll try it, maybe it can improve but I had it on Apple TV but ended up watching on Standard definition Direct TV instead...Ipad worked fine for me.

I used it on the Roku last year but i'm sure the two aren't that different, it was also choppy at times.

I have directv and watch it on my home tv 75% of the time. While on the road I watch on my MacBook or iPad. Then with a month left in the season last year saw I could watch on my appletv. Very user friendly, but a bit choppy every now and then.

It also looks a bit artificial.

BTW, I bought games on Itunes....bought the Brandon Roy game...it was great except they cut off the interview with Roy at the very end.

If ATV is choppy (that's a surprise to me, I'd assume it'd work great) and streaming to your laptop is good, I'd recommend the Chromecast. You're already spending $200 on league pass, so $35 for the Chromecast shouldn't be a big deal. The only time when I have issues with the Chromecast is when the actual stream is choppy (like last night trying to watch the USMNT vs Panama!). If it loses a connection, the Chromecast drops off and you have to reconnect. But if NBALP steams nicely in your browser, Chromecast should work perfectly.

That would definitely be my preferred method, but unfortunately it appears that Charter does not carry NBA league pass.

NBA league pass blacks out home games. It sucks!
