So hopefully the game will come out at the end of the month in The Netherlands (PS2 version).... who is willing to tell me what the roster is of the Nets in the game? Are all the rookies on the roster? (Ilic, Adams, Boone, Williams)? Thanks in advance!

I just got it. I'm used to playing on the PS2, and playing Live, but it seems pretty nice so far.

As Pinoy said, Adams and Ilic aren't in but it's because they signed pretty late. Roster Breakdown: J. KiddV. CarterR. JeffersonJ. CollinsN. KrsticM. MooreJ. McInnisM. WilliamsJ. BooneC. RobinsonE. HouseA. WrightB. Nachbar Training camp signees, you can add Darvin Ham but I doubt he makes the team. Jay Williams is not on the game.

HAHA I started a dynasty on it last night when I rented and went for the youth movement and I'm already dominanting with the average age of my players probably being 23 or 24. I can't wait to see it in 5 years. My starting lineup is...PG- Chris PaulSG- Ben GordonSF- Gerald WallacePF- David WestC- Chris KamanUdonis HaslemRyan GomesRajon RondoShannon BrownKwame Brownand I forgot the rest.

Why do people start an association, then sim 75% of it? What is the fun in that? I never understood that. It will be like 4 days after they get the game - "I won 2 titles in a row!" How is it fun if you just sim it all and play a game here and there?

Those are the people that prefer being a manager as opposed to a player. I have 29 game seasons and sim probably 25 of them. But I normally play the playoffs.

I NEED to play the games. That makes the game fun for me. That why I buy it.

I usually just have two different Association saves... one where I actually play through entire 82-game seasons (tedious, I know, but whatever), and another where I'll have a fantasy draft and sim the entire season, basically just being the general manager and seeing what happens with my team.

If I'm bored one day and I don't really feel like playing a full game, I will sim for fun (but not save it) for like 2 seasons, just mess around. But 98% of the time I turn that game on I play a full game. I don't understand how people could just not play at all in their associations. People say "I won 2 championships." My response - no you didn't the computer did.

I keep my roster the same, I think it's way more fun and hard to play with rosters without a lineup full of all stars. I got the Pistons and I'm in my first season, I play on Hall of Fame Mode and so far I'm 19-7 I believe. It sucks because I'm 8-4 at home and 11-3 on the road, I had a little trouble closing out Memphis, Washington, Houston, and Seattle at home. My bench plays really well, and I play a lot of zone and get a lot of steals, rebounds, and fastbreak points as a whole from it. I wish it had more of the rookies on there though and like on the pistons roster it would be nice if they had Amir Johhnson. I looked forward to playing with/against Paul Davis on the game too but he ain't on there so that sucks. It's a pretty cool game though, I wish it had better camera views and there wasn't so many touchy fouls called. I turned the fouls down a little bit too and it still seems to be a lot of touchy fouls.

Yeah, I try not to make huge deals and have three or four stars on my team, because it just isn't fun that way for me. I'll usually keep my core players and then try to build a better supporting cast around them. For instance, right now I'm the Sixers (go figure) and I'm 22-4. I traded Kevin Ollie for Salim Stoudamire, and then I traded Steven Hunter for Eddie Griffin (who has been an absolute BEAST for me).

Bastard beat the Celtics at the buzzer. :ranting: That 360 oop (Kidd passed from the top of the key) was insane! I want to do that. But is it just me, or near the end did he bounce it off the ground and oop himself? That's naaaasty.

I haven't got the game myself, because the release date over here is later than in the US, damn it. But did I see it right? Did Kidd throw a pass behind the back? How do you do that????? Is that really possible?
