who you think have been the best running 1-2 punches so far this year?San Diego -- Ladanian Tomlinson and Michael Turner EASILY the top in the NFLNew England -- Corey Dillon and Laurence Maroneylol Vick plays like a HB so I'll putAtlanta - Warrick Dunn and Michael Vick
Corey Dillon and Laurence Maroney is my favorite punch but I like the punch of Thomas Jones and Cedric Benson and Jamal Lewis and Mike Anderson.
Maroney and Dillon is a great mix of speed and power, with Faulk mixed in catching screens out of the backfield I would have to say we have the best trio of backs in the NFL because of its versatility and skill.
I agree, San Diego with LT-Turner is easily the best. Turner could start for most teams, just unfortunate he's playing on the same team as the best back in the NFL.Some others to mention...New Orleans: Reggie Bush - Duece McAlisterDallas: Julius Jones - Marion BarberDenver: Tatum Bell and Mike Bell

There is no doubt in my mind that it is Reggie Bush and Deuce. Not many 1-2 punches are on the field at the same time. These guys are on a lot of plays, which makes it that much more intimidating. People are soon to forget how good Deuce was before he got injured last year. Was a top 5 back.
Alexander and Morris are a pretty good duo but unfortunatly the Madden Curse has struck Alexander pretty bad. Morris should do a good job though.
