Portland is falling out of love because this is the 3rd team St. Thomas hasn't put out for.

Well, he did something at Kansas that Roy Williams tried over and over again only to come up short. That's win a title.

With that said, I'm not a fan of Self.

No. I like Thomas. And I think if you are patient with him, he will eventually pay dividends. Will he be the prolific scorer LA and Sheed were at the position? Probably not. But if we are patient with I think he will leave his own stamp and one that is worthy of where he was selected at. Even though I say be patient with Meyers. I can't say I feel the same about him.

Yeah, I think Sam Mitchell (Or was that Smitty?) hit on it on NBATV. Both teams thought he was further along offensively than what he is. We are determining that right now. But...

He brings something to the table. Rebounding and defensively, I can see that improving. And there is always room for someone who can rebound and defend.

When you say free you mean for 3.5 million dollars free.

Like saying Golden State got Andre Iguodala for free or we got Mo Williams for free

He has a mean streak. We need that. I would love if he turned into a Charles Oakley.

A good hard hat player is usually hated by every other team's fan base. Rodman, Oakley, even Najera are those players that get under your skin.

I want t rob to be that player

I don't know if I see Buck in him.... I see an enforcer. Tough dude. Rebounds and knocks heads.

Exactly exactly what this team needs. And that's worth waiting for.

First and foremost the Blazers need to get a decent big man coach or it's all for naught.
All of the Blazers bigs have one thing in common, and that is that they all play 'stiff'. We need an Olajuwon type coach to teach them some post moves and how to use their bodies correctly.

As for TRob, he's such a physical speciman, i'd hate to see it wasted on just rebounding. Didn't he score 17 ppg or so at Kansas?
With that right coach, perhaps, he could develop an athletic scoring/rebound type of career - maybe like a McDyess/Oakley type?

I don't wanna see either. I'd rather get a real backup PF and not a project.

I think Leonard will be out of nba like Babbitt. Once his rookie deal is up he's gone.
