IF he pans out, I see more Brian Grant than Buck.

Kansas Coach Bill Self recruits top talent, then teaches them nothing in his system of illusion. NBA scouts keep drafting his players high. The players then disappoint, surviving on the raw talent they had when Self recruited them.

Yeah, seriously. All this over-exaggerated hemming and hawing when we don't see the exact results we want overnight is annoying. Let's practice some patience. Time has a way of unveiling things.

You've been following this community for a while, no? You should be used to this :devilwink:

Seriously though, I can already tell you who's going to be harping on Robinson all season. His name rhymes with pastahiphopulous.

Strap in and get ready for a long season of bashing Leonard and Robinson.

Haha I'm a Blazer fan, I've been used to this from the moment I realized internet and basketball could be intimately connected experiences.

I'm really just here to evangelize the Book of Patience with our young guys. How anyone could possibly "give up" on T-Rob in the preseason when he's played reasonably well is beyond me. The dude has a lot of talent, but he plays in a man's league and obviously has some things to learn.

I haven't watched him with you guys but paid a lot of attention to him when he was with the Kings and I never got the impression that he would ever be the Oakley-type banger that you guys seems to be hoping for. I always had a feeling that he would end up as more of a tweener. Something like Gerald Wallace. He was similar when he came in to the league, freakishly athletic but no real skills to speak of.
