Personally, I was shocked that we made it into the teens. I've been waiting for this podcast for about a week. I'll go give it a listen.

Been loving this preview thing they're doing. Simmons/Rose (and Zach Lowe) are easily the most knowledgeable NBA media personalities out there today. As far as their prognosis, a lot of it hinges on Dame. If he blows up, we'll be better than 8.

Jalen Rose will be disappointed like all TBitch fans. Minny will be another year with injury issues. They won't even break the 35 win mark.

On paper, they do have a stacked team; but I remember a lot of years where other teams "on paper" were good. Look no farther than the Lakers last season. Paper don't mean shit. Lets see what you do in the regular season.

I think until Licky Lubio can make a 15-ft jump shot, the defensive game plan will be to sag and make him make shots. Could be ugly for the T-pups.

I'm kind of surprised at how unimpressive their "insights" are. For example, Bill Simmons thinks Portland is a "one team" town still. Apparently the Timbers haven't registered. He also doesn't think much of Lillard and (here's the kicker) LOVES Thomas Robinson.

Don't take anything Simmons says seriously. You should put unreliable characters on Ignore.

There are 4 big sports leagues. Of those Portland only has one team.

Yea, I disagree on Simmons being one the most knowledgeable NBA personalities. Funny perhaps, but incredibly knowledgeable, I'm not so sure.

One thing Minny has going for them is Rick Adelman. That have a base of talent. We know he can coach. I think it's possible they can get there.

To be fair, he wrote one of the best books on NBA history. He knows a little.

ya'rly It's not scientific, and I've heard he has a hunch that the Heat will follow the trend that teams can't compete for the NBA championship four years in a row

    Ya seriously. Great book, btw.

The dude is a hoops junkie. When you compare him with other talking heads on ESPN/Turner, he is easily one of the best out there.

I like Simmons. I don't always think he's right, but he's a funny guy and I think he has a good outlook on sports.
