Guess the Blazers based on their pre-season stats: Stat, Player 1, Player 2 mpg: 25.8, 26.2 ppg: 11.8, 9.6 fg%: 40.9, 56.2 3%: 18.8, 50 ft%: 88.9, 81.8 apg: 5.2, 1.2 spg 1.0, 1.0 to/g: 4.5, 2.2 rpg: 2.2, 4.6
Nope, I remember you saying something about Barton having a really high FG % in preseason in another thread, so the %s plus ppg and rpg made it easy. And the Mo pick was based on the apg, and the ppg meaning it couldn't be Lillard.
I think whats encouraging about Barton is that there has been improvement which would suggest that there is room for more improvement. If that the case then he has a better shot than I would have guessed at becoming a legit role player and I suspect trade bait at some point.
I like Will. He can be really frustrating to watch, but he's still so young and there's a ton of room to develop. I think he'll turn out to be a solid player for us.
I'm with you. He's a bit of a craps shoot and I get frustrated watching him sometimes, but he's great at a circus shot, and so freaky fast that he deserves a couple more years to see how he does.
He has great instincts. One of the first things I noticed about him in SL a year ago was that he played the passing lanes very well and he has length. I just don't think the team should be playing him as a facilitator. He's not a good ball handler at all.
CP3 just took it away from him last night. It was like watching a grown man take away a ball from a 5 year old.
