I know getting Dwight meant the world to Houston, but what would happen if this thing blew up in their face? What if the Howard project didn't work? What if Asik gets pissed and leaves without giving them anything substantial?

I could see Houston fans being bitter about the T Rob for nothing deal. Especially if T rob becomes a rebounding machine.

Howard would have to crumble and TRob absolutely blow up for Houston fans to be bitter about any of their decisions surrounding the two players.

You don't think a couple first round exits won't get them frazzled?

The Rockets gave up about as much to get Dwight as the Lakers did. There's no reason to be bitter about the acquisition, but there could very well be a lot of people unhappy with the player.

Howard won't crumble, but if he may get injured yet again. Or, if the team doesn't win he will want out.

What if Robinson turns out better than Dwight Howard, takes Aldridge's job, Aldridge jumps to his home state Texas, Houston beats us in the Finals behind Aldridge, and Howard jumps to the Nets where he really wants to be, so we lose Howard for nothing?

I don't like to see Canzano express displeasure.

I think Kostas Papanikolaou will help salve their burns if this happens.

I don't think Howard enters into the equation. If TRob does well, I think they'll still be bitter they got nothing for him. Sure, they can justify it because he was traded to make room for Howard, but it will still be a bitter spill to swallow.

Even if Robinson becomes a starter, it was still a good "trade" for Houston. They got the Center of the Decade.

I was the one saying we should replace McMillan with Kevin McHale because he would make a man out of Aldridge. He'll do the same with Howard as he did with Garnett.

I expect great improvement in the second half of Howard's career. His Laker vacation was his halftime.

I improved my last sentence. I don't see anything permanent about his back.

Isn't pretty much everything permanent about the back? Once you have serious back problems, they don't just go away, do they?

    Ummmm, right....

I think there is a greater chance Portland fans will regret letting Luke Babbitt walk for nothing.

So you don't think there would be regret for giving him up without any real value in return if Robinson turns out to be a really good player?
