He wasn't sharp at all in preseason and outside of the Caps game he has been flat out bad. The Eli Manning like excuses for his play have started to become more common.
I don't know if he'd admit it, but it seems if he thinks the team isn't going to score for him he mentally lets down.
He has been terrible......but......given his track record, how horrible our offense is I would be more concerned about our offense
Sometimes when you don't win anything with the core, you have to tinker with the core. MDZ is a guy I would be open to trading now. i think Allen is going to get the call pretty soon from the minors. If this kid shows a lot and looks like he could replace Girardi, they might move him as well.
