Anybody ever have any experiences with bosses/supervisors that were huge tools?

The boss at my first job was such a toolbag. Plus, he had a unibrow like no other. I mean, a lot of unibrows are two eyebrows connected at the middle. Not this one, oh no. This was a UNIbrow. As in one eye brow. He was straight up Bert.

I worked under a group we called "The Triad." It was a group of three women, the first of which basically took significant ownership in our accounting firm years ago from the then lone partner, then later promoted two other women to be a part of it. The dude was rad but fading towards retirement, the three women.... Not so cool. They are still doing okay as a biz, but I'm curious to see how they do with dude partner retiring. Glad I got out when I did. They don't call them "The Triad" for nothing. In fact, I may not finish this p...

Do they make you rewrite your questions until they look perfect? That's what the manager used to do to me. Then the partner would complain I took too long. I couldn't bitch that I'd spent an hour writing fucking questions on each return or I'd be going over my boss' head.

I've had some pretty douchey bosses over the last ten years.

One guy was such a tool, I decided i couldn't work for him after a week. When I told him that I was going to quit, he told me that if he was ten years younger, or if I was ten years older, he'd kick my ass.

Another job that I had when I was younger was pretty awesome. I was selling shoes part time at a New Balance shop. There was a really high turnover rate at that job, and they always had new people coming in. The two women that hired me were awesome, but after a few months they were both gone. During that time period they hired this trashy girl. She tried to get me to take her to the company party as a date. I said no. Shortly after that they promoted her to manager (because nobody else wanted the job). My life was hell until I quit.

I had some brainless squad and platoon sergeants in during my Army career. My current boss is golden. I've worked for him twice. The first time, he was sitting in his office with his back to his open door, and the president of the company was sitting opposite him, facing the open door. I was swinging past his office to say good morning, saw they were talking, so I just walked up, licked the back of his bald head, and went along into the shop without looking back. My boss said the look on the president's face was priceless...

Always beware of women grouping together just for the sake of "women power" and sticking it to the man.

I had 2 bad bosses during my 4 decades of toiling for The Man. The rest were fine. The 2 were both desk men in the car biz, and I helped engineer their firings. Generally, most Americans still take pride in the performance of their work.

Believe me, it's why I ran as soon as I could. The one male partner finally has had enough and I supposedly retiring, but he's young enough, he may go do some consulting elsewhere. But The Triad has clearly succeeded in getting rid of any male with power. They will hire males for the bottom of the good chain, though.

I don't really think I could get fired if I tried. The things some of my co-workers get away with....

The only thing I can think of would be to empty the bank accounts.

hahaha I had one guy call me and ask me to come back, I declined and the conversation devolved to the point that I berated him and his limited intellect all the way to the point of referring to him as a fuck stick

When I came to my current company my sup was a lady who was openly bipolar and took no meds. Never seen such a schitzo in my LIFE. It got so bad she was removed from her job and now she is being let go. Aside from that most my bosses have been bearable. And a few really excellent.
