    ...essentially the same numbers as Phil f'n Hughes for the last 2 years....and he gets 2 years/$35 Mil?

    yeah... saw that... hopefully that doesn't make the Yankees thinking of signing Hughes again.... that would be horrid

    Lincecim was prima in the Giants 2010 Championship and made good bullpen contributions in '12. That money is a bit away from the what have you done for me lately scenario but I'd guess Righetti and Bochy think he's got gas in his tank. Signing Pence was a good deal.

    Very surprising to see him get $35M. My guess is that other FA pitchers are gonna latch on to that $17.5/yr tag and see how far it can get them. Garza, Santana, etc.
