leondro barbosa for brian cook and a second rounder. phoenix gets another big body, and one that can shoot. the lakers get someone who can actually handle the ball and penetrate. what do you think?
I love the trade for LA, but not so much for Phoenix. I guess they think Banks can handle Barbosa's role from last year. Barbosa gives LA a much needed scorer for that 2nd unit. Not much scoring other than Odom and Bryant on the team, so Barbosa should see plenty of shots. Good trade for LA. We'll see how it works for the Suns.

I likie it for both. Suns need some more bigs - Givers them some redundancy if Amare and/or Thomas go down again. For the Lakers - lovely, They look like having a hard time with a starting PG at the moment so this would help a great deal. Nice one Dogma.
no, alig, it's not official. just an idea. and smush would likely start in front of barbosa for the fact that Barbosa could anchor the second unit, whereas parker is too inconsistent.
Why was my post deleted? Or did I just not post because my internet wasn't working? Anyway, I said the Barbosa will get plenty of playing time and play a big role off the bench for us while we get another big man who can only shoot and take away playing time from players like KT and Diaw who will actually contribute to the team. I'd rather play small than get another Sean Marks. To add on to what I said, sorry I'm doing some chores so I can't think my posts out too much today.... the Suns give up a lot of talent in this trade. They give up their 7th man who they have been working on for years and who has finally started playing well, to their biggest rival in the franchises history. And for thet they will get a guy who just might crack the rotation and just might help them with their inside game.

Boo. I hate this trade. Why would we trade our 7th man who has helped us out a lot for another big man who would just take minutes away from KT, Diaw, and Amare? Doesn't make any sense to me, and just seems like a way for LAL to rip us off.

I dont get it. Why would they give up their speedy guard for Brian Cook? It doesn't make sense for Phoenix. Barbosa will get more time at the two since Eddie House is likely gone.
